SWISS CLASSIC AWARDS 2024

The SCA jury presented the winners of the SWISS CLASSIC AWARDS 2024 last Saturday evening at the Swiss Museum of Transport. They awarded the winners with an SCA certificate and medal.

Lifetime Award: H.A. Bichsel

Winners

The "Lifetime Award" was presented to H.A. Bichsel, a key figure in the classic car community. In the 1980s, he founded the Swiss Federation for Historic Motor Vehicles (SDHM) and advocated for five-year inspection intervals and special veteran license plates. In 1991, he launched the RAID SUISSE-PARIS rally, blending automotive culture with French heritage. With over 60 events, including WinterRAIDs and international tours, RAID has become an institution that keeps the legacy of historic automobiles alive.
